Are you looking for a cosy campsite in the Dalarna area? Älvdalens Camping is beautifully situated on the banks of the Österdal River. We offer various forms of camping accommodation. We have around 100 pitches for visitors who want to bring their own caravan, RV or tent. We also have 35 cabins available for rent.

CAMPING IN DALARNA WITH NATURE ON YOUR DOORSTEP

Älvdalen has a wonderful scenic location close to the Swedish wilderness, with attractions for hikers, mountainbikers and fishing enthusiasts. We collaborate closely with other operators in the area, and our website contains many tips about activities and things to do. Our campground in Älvdalen has an ideal geographical location in northern Dalarna. Mora is only 40 km away, and it is only 20 km to Särna. Sälen (65 km) and Idre (100 km) are also within easy driving distance.

A VIBRANT SMALL TOWN

From the campground it is only a five minute walk to Älvdalen town centre, with shops, a hotel and restaurants. There is also a public swimming centre with a 50-metre pool, waterslide, solarium, whirlpool and gym. On the other side of the river the Swedish wilderness takes over, providing those interested in hiking and fishing with untold opportunities for adventure and recreation.
